During an early spring-season practice session, sailing teammates Hannah Freeman, ’24, and Sophie Fisher, ’26, navigate Boat 2 through crisp gusts on the Bay. As sunset approaches, their training focuses on downwind speed, steering angles, and body position in the boat—“surfing the waves with our sails,” Freeman says.
